Romeo and Juliet is one of the most intense/romance/violeance films I have ever seen. It was so good. The intensity was outstanding since the drama kept on leading up and up, making every detail sweet and juicy. The romance in this film was really heart-braking and sweet. It was heart-braking because Romeo and Juliet couldn't be accepted as a couple since they come from different backgrounds and It was sweet because the two lovebirds would sneak away just to see each other, which I think is really nice to do if a couple really loves each other.
Catherine Martin quoted " It's a celebration of the eclecticism of urbanism. A celebration of the neon sign, if you like. The kitsch, vibrating, exciting, edgy".I actually agree with Catherine Martin because this film was very exciting due to it's qualities of violence, romance, and intensity.Vibrating scenes did occur such as big thunderstorms popping up on verona beach with Romeo,Tybult, and Merccucio, since it was a very tense scene. It also had alot of nice architectual details that made the movie give a huge spark to it.
The scene at Verona beach with Romeo,Tybult, and Mercuccio is an example of this great spark. When Romeo had the gun, and had the decision to kill himself or Tybult, since Tybult had murdered Mercuccio with his knife, Romeo declared lively that someone must die with merccuci;so Romeo has the gun and murdered Tybult on the edge of a pool area. That was a wise and brave decision for Romeo to make.
This film had alot of craftsmanship of William Shakespeare. He wrote alot of other plays that I am sure had alot of high qualities that showed in the movie. Love is a powerful high quality William Sheakspeare put into this since It also had alot of symbols, Power is another high quality that was plugged into the movie, and the final quality it had was independence. It showed Two backgrounds colliding together to try and form one background but unfortuantely it has happened in the afterlife we call Heaven.

Book blog #14- The Battle of the Labryinth
Junior High school can be challenging with school work and relationships. Can you ever exist in a school where vile girls are man-eating cheerleaders, trying to sabotage a freshman's reputation because of his kind? Well In the novel The Battle of the Labrynith by Rick Riordan, High school freshman Percy Jackson begins his mother's fiance's school due to his bad behaivor thanks to unexpcected enemies that continue to pop up into his life out of no where.
Being attacked at every school and destorying the school can be very heartbraking. I feel bad for Percy because he must not feel wanted or excepted at anywhere he goes to feel welcome. Well at least he has that special camp full of his family. When I say family I quote his half- blood close friends+actual family. Percy is a cool guy because he has a great attitude and way on how he handles things. To me,he is a one of a kind because his father is Poseidon, Which it god of water.
Freindships do come along. Percy is sort of like me, not because we are both greek, but because we both have a very special best friend that is a girl. One of my best friends that are girls is Nicole Boudinot. she does understand me knowing that we do hang out alot and that we like to talk to each other about the randomest things and also just mumble into the phone when we have nothing else to say... well that's what I do.
Tomorrow I will be going over her house to hangout and have fun with her and another person. In this situation, I do feel like Percy because he does have strong connections with mostly females than males and that's exactly the same with me.This book does take you through an amazing adventure and I am love with it already even though I am on the 22nd page.It really is inspiring also because not only does it have a huge thing on friendships, but it also has a little treat that everyone will enjoy.

Book Blog #13- mentors from 812
http://shadman1212.blogspot.com/2010/12/compound-is-there-someone-to-blame.html
Shadman's blog is really great. I like on how he questions the characters in his book. It's realy creative and it can inspire others as well. In his blog post on the book " The compound", he questions his characters and kind of is trying to get feedback from his readers, so than he can impact the feedback into his character's position. I also like on how he pushes himself into writing more than 3 paragraphs. It can be challenging but it's worth it in the en because the more he writes, the more he shows off his fancy character each week.

Ashelys blog makes everybody have a little soft part in their heart after they read this book blog. Although I have never read the book Identical by Ellen Hopkins, it seems to me that Ashleys put a lot of thought into her work and she does make it very powerful even though this book blog was only 3 paragraphs long. I love on how Ashley shows a great amount of passion for her family and also talks about what it may be like in her family and all the love they spread. She also is very descriptive in comparing the family in the book to her family, which I like and it shows alot of work and thought put into it.

Kayla is another mentor for me. She brings up so many great things that I have to share with you into this blog post. Her book tells about a girl who has a stealing problem. I like on what kayla did; she brought up actual information that happens on in the real world. Parents telling their children not to hit people, no stealing, and always be kind to one and other. It really is a good mentor to look at and she also asks the reader questions if they have ever stole something before and make it lound and clear when she beings her questioning by saying YOU!. This blog post was beyond the 3 paragraph world and it blew me out of the water.

Book blog #12- poem to picture

Greece Greece I love you so much
you have such great things
The golden church bell rings
A greek child sing
and still Greece Greece I love you so much
Greece Greece why are you so warm?
It feels like the New York where i was just born
but hotter and refreshing
hotter due to the golden blazing of a golden sun
and refreshing because of the clear blue sea
Greece Greece you are the place for me
just stay with me and don't forget your sea

Book blog #11- Poem to read
The old year by john clare -
The old year has gone away
To nothingness and night:
We cannot find him all the day
Nor hear him in the night:
He left no footstep, mark or place
In either shade or sun:
The last year he'd a neighbour's face,
In this he's known by none.
All nothing everywhere:
Mists we on mornings see
Have more of substance when they're here
And more of form than he.
He was a friend by every fire,
In every cot and hall--
A guest to every heart's desire,
And now he's nought at all.
Old papers thrown away,
Old garments cast aside,
The talk of yesterday,
Are things identified;
But time once torn away
No voices can recall:
The eve of New Year's Day
Left the Old Year lost to all.
The old year has gone away
To nothingness and night:
We cannot find him all the day
Nor hear him in the night:
He left no footstep, mark or place
In either shade or sun:
The last year he'd a neighbour's face,
In this he's known by none.
All nothing everywhere:
Mists we on mornings see
Have more of substance when they're here
And more of form than he.

In every cot and hall--
A guest to every heart's desire,
And now he's nought at all.
Old papers thrown away,
Old garments cast aside,
The talk of yesterday,
Are things identified;
But time once torn away
No voices can recall:
The eve of New Year's Day
Left the Old Year lost to all.
Book blog#11-Poetry
The poem I really enjoyed is The old year by John Clare. It's a poem about new years day and it also talks about the old times from the old year. Something that I obeserved that reallys speaks to me is that this poem is the line that says a guest to every heart's desire.
It speaks to me because it shows spreading of love for the new year which is really sweet. Another obervation i found was that the poem is very descriptive, stating that putting aside the old stuff for the new year is acceptable and great, when I think why can't both of last years and the new year's stuff be together? The final observation I made was that the years are acting like people and trying to recieve that special spot light for the most "popular year".
What I've oberserved and seen in this poem is that the two years are little children trying to fight for the spotlight and being the center of attention for the new year. A couple of years ago me and my sister would always fight over being the center of attention to get more things that we wanted but than as we got older we would realize we both earned and got that spotlight.I would always want to pulverize but I didn't and of course their would be another sequel of us fighting, but gladly their wasnt.
